Binomial Distribution

The binomial distribution models the number of successes in a fixed number of independent trials, each with the same probability of success pp. Its probability is P(X=r)=nCrpr(1p)nrP(X=r)={}^{n}C_{r}\,p^{r}(1-p)^{n-r}, with mean npnp.

Tossing a coin a set number of times is a classic example.
