Getting started is refreshingly simple. You tell us what your child needs, and we assign a suitable teacher and quote their rate.

The one-hour paid trial then lets you both judge the fit on real teaching, and you decide whether to continue.

Every lesson is one student and one teacher on a shared screen. The teacher writes and sketches live while talking your child through the method, not just the answer, then hands over for guided practice on similar questions, watching the working as it happens and correcting the exact step that goes wrong.

Because it is one-to-one, the pace is set entirely by your child: the teacher slows down on the one idea that has not landed and moves on the moment it has. Lessons are delivered in English, and because the SPM Add Math papers are set bilingually in Bahasa Melayu and English, key terms are covered both ways wherever it helps.

Parents often ask whether Add Math really works online, and for one-to-one it works better than most people expect. The teacher and your child share a screen with a digital whiteboard: the teacher writes each line of algebra, sketches graphs and marks up diagrams live, exactly as they would on paper, and your child writes and shares their own working the same way.

Nothing is hidden behind a fixed slide deck, it is a live, two-way workspace. Lessons need only a laptop or tablet, a stable internet connection and, ideally, a cheap stylus or a phone camera to photograph handwritten working.

Because there is no travel, lessons slot neatly around school, and it is easy to fit a session in during the week or over the weekend. Many families also find their child speaks up more freely one-to-one online than they would in a classroom of thirty, which means misunderstandings surface and get fixed instead of being quietly carried into the exam.

SPM Additional Mathematics (code 3472) is assessed by two written papers: Paper 1 (2 hours, 80 marks) and Paper 2 (2 hours 30 minutes, 100 marks). There is no Paper 3, and you may use a non-programmable scientific calculator.

Marking is analytic, you earn marks for correct method and working, not only for the final answer, which is why our teaching puts so much weight on showing every step clearly. We keep this in view in every lesson so that practice always points toward the real exam.

In Paper 2 especially, a wrong final answer can still earn most of the marks when the method is shown clearly, and a right answer with no working can lose them. Many students who "know how to do it" still under-score simply because of how they present it.

So a real part of the work is habit: reading exactly what is asked, planning the steps, laying out working so each mark is visible, drawing clean sketches, and giving answers in exact and decimal form where the question wants them.

Good tutoring is not just good lessons, it is knowing the plan is working and adjusting when it is not. From the first lesson, the teacher builds a simple picture of where your child is strong and where the marks are leaking, and shapes a plan around it: which chapters to prioritise, which foundations to repair first, and what to practise between sessions.

As trial exams and school tests come back, the teacher uses them as real evidence, reading the actual script to see whether marks were lost to method, to careless slips, or to running out of time, and then targeting exactly that. Parents are welcome to a short, honest update on how things are going and what to expect next, told to you straight so you always know where your child really stands.

For a subject as cumulative as Add Math, where a weak stretch of teaching in Form 4 can quietly cost a grade in Form 5, that accountability is the whole point.

Lessons are from RM50/hr, varying by the teacher’s experience. The trial is a one-hour paid class at the teacher’s rate, never free, and we quote the exact rate on WhatsApp.

The best time to start is the moment Add Math stops feeling comfortable, not the term before the exam. Because the subject is cumulative, a small gap opened in Form 4 tends to widen quietly through Form 5, so the same grade is far cheaper to reach in effort and stress if the foundation is kept solid as you go.

A student who begins early usually needs fewer lessons overall, because the teacher is preventing gaps rather than excavating a year of them under time pressure. That said, it is rarely too late to help: even a student a few months from the exam can make real gains by focusing on the highest-value chapters, tightening exam technique, and fixing the two or three recurring mistakes that cost the most marks.
