The classic mistake in a trigonometric equation is to find one angle from the calculator and stop, but within 0°–360° most equations have two solutions, and the exam wants all of them. This solver makes the underlying method visible: it finds the reference (acute) angle first, then places a solution in each quadrant where the function takes the required sign, exactly as the CAST diagram teaches.
The unit-circle sketch shows those angles so the reasoning is concrete rather than a rule you half-remember. Use it to check that you have found every solution and to build the instinct for which quadrants to expect, positive sine in the first and second, positive cosine in the first and fourth, and so on.
In the exam you must show this quadrant reasoning to earn the method marks, so treat the tool as a way to confirm your working, not to replace the diagram you should still draw.
A tool supports method, it does not replace it
A quick tool is genuinely useful, but it is worth being clear about what it can and cannot do. It can check a result, illustrate an idea, or save time on planning, but the SPM exam rewards method, not answers, and marks come from working you produce yourself under exam conditions.
So use a tool the way you would use the answer at the back of a book: attempt the problem first, then use the tool to confirm your result or to see where your working went wrong. A student who leans on a tool to avoid the working tends to feel confident right up until the exam, where no tool is allowed and the method has to come from memory and practice.
Used the other way, to check and to build intuition, the same tool speeds up real learning. If you find you can get an answer from the tool but cannot yet reproduce the steps yourself, that gap is exactly what a lesson is for.
